Terms of service
Last updated October 4, 2026
Rodney is a free, informal project run by one person. Use it for harmless things, keep your own copies of anything you care about, and expect that it may change or disappear.
Agreeing to these terms
By signing in to Rodney you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use it. In these terms, "Rodney" means the person who runs ptkinvent.com.
What you can do
With a Google account you can sign in, then use an AI assistant to publish small static web pages at ptkinvent.com/your-page/. You're responsible for your account and for everything you publish.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you publish. By publishing it you let Rodney store it and serve it to anyone on the internet who has the link, which is how Rodney works. Don't publish anything you aren't entitled to share.
Rules
Don't use Rodney to publish or do any of the following:
- anything illegal, or that infringes someone's rights;
- phishing, impersonation or other deception;
- malware, exploits, or pages that attack or misuse other people's systems;
- harassment, hate, threats, or sexual content involving minors;
- spam or mass unsolicited content;
- forms or pages that collect other people's passwords, financial details, health data, government IDs or similar sensitive information;
- anything that places excessive load on the service or works around its limits (currently 50 pages per account and 4 MB per file).
Don't put secrets or private information in a page. Everything is public to anyone with the link.
Removal and blocking
Rodney may remove any page or block any account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including suspected abuse.
No guarantees
Rodney is provided "as is" and "as available", with no promise that it will work, be secure, keep your pages, or stay online. It may change, break or shut down at any time, and pages may be lost. Keep your own copies of anything you care about, and don't depend on Rodney for anything important.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Rodney isn't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service, including lost pages or data, interruptions, or the content of pages that other people publish.
Other services
Signing in uses Google, hosting uses Amazon Web Services, and your AI assistant is a separate service. Each is governed by its own terms.
Changes
These terms may change. Continuing to use Rodney after a change means you accept the new terms. The date at the top shows when they were last updated.
